About Us
Adakon Energy is a small, privately owned energy and infrastructure development firm based right here in Bluffton, South Carolina. We're not a division of a bigger tech company. We take power sites that are sitting idle or underused, like an old plant or an unused stretch of land near existing lines, and put them back to work.
Our completed project in Underwood, North Dakota delivered 225 MW of power in under two years, built alongside Rainbow Energy, where we still operate today.
Our work covers power generation development, structuring flexible load for utilities and public power providers, and identifying land with existing power access for large energy users. We also respond to utility RFPs and structure power purchase agreements.
